The Danes cap off the tournament in impressive fashion and secure a slot at LAN Sweet LAN 2022.
The third Pinnacle Winter Series has concluded and seen HEROIC emerge victorious after defeating fellow Danish team Copenhagen Flames in two straight maps in the event's grand finals.
With the tournament under their belt, the roster led by Casper "cadiaN" Møller secured $40,000 in prize money and a guaranteed spot in the quarter-finals of the LAN Sweet LAN which will take place in Belgrade, Serbia. The event was slated for April 2022, but HLTV.org has been informed by the organizer that it has been pushed back until later in the year, with October being a likely target.

HEROIC showed their dominance and proved why they are ranked the fifth best team in the world, beating both Apeks and ECSTATIC 2-0 on their way to the final, with three out of the four maps ending in dominant victories for the Danish powerhouse.
Their success in this tournament adds to what has been nothing short of an impressive run of form by the team. They've finished 3rd-4th in a number of big tournaments such as PGL Major Stockholm and BLAST Premier Fall Final, and although the Danes dipped at the end of the year, they added another top-four finish at the recently concluded IEM Katowice in an impressive recovery.
At the moment, it is still unclear as to what will happen to the tournament spot of ex-FunPlus Phoenix, as their CS:GO team has disbanded. As it stands, the teams confirmed to be attending the $250,000 LAN Sweet LAN are:
